Sarah and Mikey found us through my amazing cousin and also one of the best Barossa caterers Vintage Chef Catering (I’m not bias at all)
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to photograph this couple for their Riverland wedding. It was one of the most crazy, fun, adventurous weddings we have had to date, and still one of my absolutely favourites!
Sarah and Mikey held their ceremony and reception at their shack in the Riverland that they had built completely themselves. It was a perfect summer day, 30 degrees, clear skies and not a hint of wind or rain in sight.
My favourite memory of the day has to be the drive to the bridal portraits which involved throwing the girls into the back of a dusty old ute and ferrying them 5 minutes down the road. I can safely say not many brides would be laid back enough to climb into the back of a dusty truck in their wedding dress on their wedding day! Sarah let the wind whip her hair and flowers around. There was even some off-roading performed with the girls in the back, and Sarah didn’t blink an eye, she happily jumped into the back of the truck, no questions asked and was full of laughter. Honestly it looked like she was having the time of her life. Meanwhile I was thinking ‘oh my gosh she is not going to be happy about this.’ I was proven wrong!
I can absolutely say that it was one of my favourite days to date!
